Presentation in Vlasenica of Human Losses in Bosnia and Herzegovina 1991-1995 project

RDC President Mr. Mirsad Tokaca gave a speech and presented part of the Human Losses in Bosnia and Herzegovina 1991-1995 project to mark 16 years since the suffering of Bosniaks in the concentration camp Sušica in Vlasenica. His project presentation related to the suffering of Vlasenica residents.

The presentation was held in the barracks of the former concentration camp as part of a program to mark the anniversary. In attendance were 200 citizens of Vlasenica, former inmates and their families, representatives of the association Women in Black from Belgrade, as well as journalists and visitors from other parts of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Mr. Tokaca emphasized that the case of the Sušica concentration camp is very significant and that it should never be forgotten or diminished. He also asked the citizens of Vlasenica to bring photos and fill in details about casualties from the city, in order to complete the data which currently exists in the RDC Database.
