The Italian Organization "Saraj" visited Center

Sarajevo, 28. December 2005.

Members of the Italian organization Saraj that works in the field of intercultural connections between Italy and other countries, especially in the Eastern Europe visited our Center on December 28, 2005 . The group of 12 young Italians, with various backgrounds, showed interest in our work, achieved results and overall goals.

Mr. Mirsad Tokaca , President of the Research and Documentation Center, met with the group, talked about methodology of the work and gave them broader view of recent war events in Bosnia and Herzegovina . He answered number of questions and presented Population loses project explaining in details database and its function. They were especially interested in the way our society is dealing with the past and the processes of reconciliation and peace building.

After the meeting they had the opportunity to see our offices and the practical portion of the database utilization.
