PRESENTATION OF THE "HUMAN LOSSES IN BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA 91-95" RESEARCH PROJECT RESULTS AND PROJECT EVALUATION
21.06.2007.
RDC is independent, non-profit, non-governmental, professional, and partisan institution with the goal to research and collect documentation, facts, and information on genocide, war crimes, and human rights violations, regardless of victims' ethnical, social, religious, and racial background.
Project was launched with the goal to establish identities of killed/missing citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina caused by the direct war activities, which concluded the first phase of this project. During the next phase of the project indirect war victims will be included such as persons who starved to death, persons whose death was caused by freezing, poisoning, etc. We believe that the truth based on facts plays an important role in the dealing with the past process, building of the trust, and it is important precondition for the development of the social responsibility, democratic society and long-lasting peace.
This research is financially supported by the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Office of Public Affairs of U.S. Embassy (OPA), and Charles Stewart Mott Foundation.
