BAD MEMORIES - INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE IN ROVERETO

Sarajevo, 21 November 2007.

Mr Mirsad Tokaca, president of the Research and Documentation Centre, was involved in the work of the international conference Bad Memories: Sites, emblems and narrations of wars in the Balkans that was held on the 9th of November 2007 in Rovereto, Italy.

The conference was organized by the foundation Peace Bell within the project The Observatory on the Balkans with a goal to gather different associations and institutions that have been promoting peace and co-existence in the Balkans for a number of years.

The conference was dedicated to war memories, and Mr Tokaca spoke about the memories of the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina, in the beginning of the 1990ties.
